What a Taichung frame quote is hiding
The valley will make it. The drawing has to deserve the jig. A render is not a drawing.

Floor notes from Shenzhen and the valleys that still answer the phone.
Taichung’s bicycle valley still quotes frames, forks, and small aluminium parts to people who arrive with a render. The quote hides weld time, a fixture, and the paint booth’s minimum. If you are not the house everyone in the valley already knows, say so early. The valley is used to both the flagship and the guest.
Bring the tolerance
Samples here are slower than Dongguan plastics, and more honest about why. A beauty render does not tell a jig where to clamp. Separate the raw frame, the paint, and the decal, or you will argue later about a price that was three prices.
Read it in this order
- A drawing with tolerances, not a mood board.
- Does the fixture already exist?
- Raw frame, paint, and decal, on separate lines.
- A sample in weeks, not days.
